Java connection

Connect to Java Edition

Add the server in Minecraft Java Edition and connect directly by address. Login is available from a regular or unofficial Java client.

    Start Minecraft Java Edition.

    Open the Minecraft Launcher and start Java Edition.

    Open Multiplayer and choose Add Server.

    Use the standard Multiplayer menu.

    Enter mc.nord-fjell.com.

    Add mc.nord-fjell.com as the server address.

  4. 4

    Save the server and connect.

    Select Nord Fjell in the server list and join.

Java commands

Useful server commands

The commands below cover homes, land protection, private messages and fast mining.

Home

/sethome [name]
Save a home point. The name is optional.
/home [name]
Teleport to one of your homes.
/homelist
Show your saved homes. Alias: /homes.
/edithome <name> relocate
Move a saved home to your current position.
/delhome [name]
Delete a saved home.

Land protection

//wand
Get the wooden selection axe.
Selection
Left-click the first corner and right-click the opposite corner.
/rg claim name
Protect the selected area.
/rg info name
Show protection information.
/rg list
Show your protected areas.
/rg addmember name player
Add a friend.
/rg removemember name player
Remove a friend.
/rg remove name
Remove a protection.

Chat

/msg player message
Send a private message.
/teammsg message
Message your team.

Shift + mining
When mining ore or trees, Veinminer breaks connected blocks. Tool durability is spent for every block.

Common connection problems

Check these points if you cannot connect to the server.

Which Minecraft version do I need?

Use the Java Edition version shown in the connection card and status block. If the server was recently updated, restart the launcher and select the matching version.

Are mods required?

No. Client mods are not required to join the server.

Why does the server appear offline?

Refresh the status block and check your game version, server address and internet connection. If the status still looks wrong, contact support with the error text.

Where is the world map?

The Java map is available from the Map link in the Java navigation menu.

Unable to connect?

Check your game version and server address. If the error remains, open the contact page and include the exact error message or a screenshot.
