Connect from Java or Bedrock

Choose your Minecraft edition below. Both connection methods lead to the same Nord Fjell world.

Connection

Use the address and steps for the edition installed on your device.

Java

Minecraft Java Edition

Connect from a supported Java Edition client.

    Start Minecraft Java Edition.

    Open the launcher and start a supported version.

  2. 2

    Open Multiplayer.

    Choose Add Server in the Multiplayer menu.

  3. 3

    Enter the server address.

    Use mc.nord-fjell.com and save the server.

  4. 4

    Join Nord Fjell.

    Select the server and enter the shared world.

Bedrock

Minecraft Bedrock Edition

Connect from Windows, Android, iOS or another supported Bedrock device.

    Start Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

    Sign in to your Microsoft account.

  2. 2

    Open the Servers tab.

    Choose Add Server where custom servers are supported.

  3. 3

    Enter address and port.

    Use mc.nord-fjell.com and port 19132.

  4. 4

    Join Nord Fjell.

    Save the server and enter the shared world.

Bedrock player names

Bedrock player names are shown on the server with the PE_ prefix. You do not need to add it manually when connecting. Example: PE_Player.

Server commands

Useful server commands

Useful commands for homes, land protection, messages and fast mining in the shared world.

Home

/sethome [name]
Save a home point. The name is optional.
/home [name]
Teleport to one of your homes.
/homelist
Show your saved homes. Alias: /homes.
/edithome <name> relocate
Move a saved home to your current position.
/delhome [name]
Delete a saved home.

Land protection

//wand
Get the wooden selection axe.

Left-click the first corner and right-click the opposite corner.
/rg claim name
Protect the selected area.
/rg info name
Show protection information.
/rg list
Show your protected areas.
/rg addmember name player
Add a friend.
/rg removemember name player
Remove a friend.
/rg remove name
Remove a protection.

Chat

/msg player message
Send a private message.
/teammsg message
Message your team.

Shift + mining
When mining ore or trees, Veinminer breaks connected blocks. Tool durability is spent for every block.

Check these points if you cannot connect to the server.

Which Minecraft versions can join?

Both supported Java Edition and Bedrock Edition clients can join the same world. The current Java version is shown in the server status; Bedrock compatibility may follow its own supported version range.

Are mods or add-ons required?

No. Client mods and Bedrock add-ons are not required to connect.

Why does the server appear offline?

Check your edition, game version, address and internet connection. Bedrock players should also check port 19132.

Where is the world map?

The world map is available from the Map link in the site navigation.

Check your game version and server address. If the error remains, open the contact page and include the exact error message or a screenshot.
